Free closed source software is the worse kind. When it breaks, it is the least likely to be fixed. There is no incentive for the developer and no one else can fix it since the developer only has the source. It is much better to pay for closed source software.

I agree. But, as long as I have Export/Import OPML, I am in the clear. This is where format interoperability helps.
